Planning our filming

Me and Lizzie have also completed some additional planning for our filming dates. In some areas we found it hard to organise a date for all our cast members to be available, however we organised a group chat through social media, this helped us sort out additional planning for the filming; 

Equipment Planning

Camera/ tripods 

                                                                                                    Before our filming date, me and Lizzie are going to pick up the professional cameras/ video recorders and tripods, we have booked out this equipment from our school. In addition we are also taking two cameras and two tripods. (this is to film from different angles as well). 

Projector Planning

Due to us using a projector (similar to Ariana Grande's music video) we have created a powerpoint to connect to the equipment to display certain colours for our background for example reds, pinks, blues etc.  We have also added transitions to the power point for example flashing and fades, this is so that the colours change throughout the video and therefore gives a bright and fun feel (which suits ours target audience). We are going to use the projector in the dance drama studio, this is because there is a plain white wall in the room of which we can project colours on to. The lighting effects are going to look different and unique but also make these scenes stand out to our audience. 

We have hired the moving projector from a department in our sixth form, me and Lizzie are going to be picking this up before the filming date to make sure we do not waste time on filming days.

Cast Member Planning
We have told our group of performers where to meet, the times needed and what they need to bring and understand about the video for example lyrics and choreography. We did this in our group chat through social media, this makes it easily accessible to communicate with our cast members to organise everything we need for filming.

Key things to remember on filming days

• Storyboard 
• Lyric annotation sheet 
• Props 
• Costumes 
• Makeup 
• Equipment (cameras, tripods, projector etc) 
• Rehearse dance routines before real filming
• Take images for tour poster and album cover/ back 
• Take videos and images of behind the scenes 
• Take images of our locations and equipment

In addition, we are filming the video over two dates, on the 3rd of October, we are going to need all of ours props, costume etc that we have, however on the 10th October we will only need certain things e.g. sparklers due to the location change.
