Analysis of Student Videos

After researching into different examples of students work, it has helped me and my partner Lizzie come up with new ideas for our music video and understand how to produce a good professional and realistic music video. After looking into other peoples work I now know what I could include and mistakes that I will try to avoid such as miming issues and character performance. My favourite student video was 'Let me think about it' by Hurtwood media school, this was due to the lighting, the props, the setting and the costume of the characters in the music video. The mise en scene was very professional and made the video look eye catching and distracting. However when I create my music video I will make sure that the miming and performance is better than this video for example like the 'Stuck- Canopy Climbers' video characters, this performance was good and seemed realistic.
