This is our chosen image for our album cover, I really like this image because they are holding the signs, which we are going to use as the font for the album name. I feel like portrays our artists as unique and different.
We have now moved onto cutting out the image of the group using photoshop, we have tried various different coloured backgrounds still sticking with our red, white and blue theme as stated in our digi pack drafts.
After trying different backgrounds, such as the image shown here, we decided to choose a blue background, this was because it made the image stand out more. We also have tried different font titles, and placed the previously made signatures onto the cd cover. I really like the boldness of the signatures and how they match the image due to them being the colour black. Me and Lizzie are currently still working on the album cover and hope to have it done soon.
Album Back Progress
At this point in our digi pack progress, we already have our record label logo, the font and the names for our songs and the barcode/ information needed to put at the bottom of our album back. Originally, we didn't want to have an image on our back cover, we were going to have a bold coloured background, however after learning about the new effects and things you can do on photoshop me and Lizzie decided to use the image we are using for our tour poster, however we edited it so the image is bold figures similar to a shadow (like the effects on our music video). I really like the effect this gives, it is very bold and stands out which is something we wanted our digi pack to be.
