Make-up Research

I want mine and Lizzie's artists to stand out and look different/ bold compared to other artists or backing dancers (which is something we are considering). So we did some research into the make-up of artists/ popular celebrities such as Beyoncé, Cara Delevingne, Lana Del Rey, Kaya Scodelario and Marina and The Diamonds. We found that all of these artists and other celebrities like to use bold/ interesting makeup to stand out for example different colours, eyeliner, lipstick and bright coloured nails/ eye makeup. I really like the effect of different, bold colours together e.g. yellows, purples, blues and also reds depending on what the artists are wearing. We also discovered that one of our possible artists (who is willing to do our video) also takes a make-up course and does various makeup designing courses, this is really good because it means that we have another person to help with make-up/ costume and the look/ branding of our artists.
